We chose to rescue this cat because she was being terrorized by neighborhood dogs and living out of a drainage hole. I took her to the vet on Saturday (All Pets in St Michaels) Dr. Coughlan did a exam and determined she is about 8-9 months old and she has been spayed. He gave her all her shots and said she looked very healthy. No aids or leukemia. As much as I love her already I can't keep her. We have a small home, travel alot for work and pleasure and it would be hard to properly care for her and give her the loving she needs. We have been following all the rules of how to care for a stray cat and I am amazed at how well she is doing. She is skittish at times and other times she just wants to be loved and played with. I have a small dog and we have introduced them together and BB actually jumped on her back one night and laid there. It was hilarious I couldn't believe it. I think she probably still needs some social time but with patience and love will be an amazing cat. You will see from the pictures how gorgeous she is. I have already cared for all the start-up shot's she needs. We have a crate for her, blankets, brushes, toys, plenty of food and treats.
